View Full Version : I need dumb endomorphs..? Morph and texture question

I've never had a need for this so I'm not sure how to describe what I want to do.

I need a piece of geometry (box) to morph from one shape (square) to rectangle. The texture on the top of this box can't scale up as I scale up the size of the box. I want the texture to remain the same size while the object scales up.

This sounds like something I'd never actually WANT Lightwave 9 to do but that's what I need to make this effect I'm trying work.

It looks like the texture has been UV mapped it looks great scaling up and down but not what I want.

I created two endomorphs: box.square and box.wide. The wide version is wide and reveals the sides of the texture that are cropped in the square version.

Any ideas how to not get the texture to automatically scale up or down with the object?

EDIT> I TURNED ON 'WORLD COORDINATES' IN THE SURFACE/TEXTURE EDITOR.

It works now with world coordinates turned on.
