I'm looking for tutorials on how to create surfaces with node editor. Samples or some presets would be nice, too.

While not technically tutorials, these should be useful in a study-and-learn sort of way:

And I hate to say it, cringe, but have you looked in the maunal? Believe it or not there are some very good examples (sort of short tutorials per node) and there are some sample scenes and objects. I am half way through what is a very extensive section. Forgive me if you've gone this route allready. :)

umpf.

Somehow (don't ask how), I missed the 3rd manual. I did download the pdf for layout and modeller, but forgot surfacing + rendering...

Excuse me please, I have to castigate myself now.

Has the manual been updated recently? Last time I d/loaded it was quite a while back and I've not seen any comments suggesting there have bee nany revisions yet.
