Hi to all.
some one knows how to avoid this kind of reflections?
LW extends the reflection a bit to much. even if you give much higher bump-map values the reflections are always extended to the bottom of the image.
Fprime result with same values is more correct.
Some suggestions?

I actualy like the result, give it a painterly-like quality..

Did you try use a fresnel-effect?

Or just simply drop a gradient on the reflections (to fake a fresnel effect). Set it to "incidence angle" and put values in it so it will reflect less if you look directly onto the surface and reflects more if you look at it in a low angle. That would make your water less reflective near the camera.

Prior to LW 9 you can add a distance gradient to the water surface so the further away the water surface is from the objects the lower the reflection value.

In LW 9 you can use RayCast node to essentially do the same thing.
