I am trying to do a liquid metal effect morphing into a sword blade. I need some advice or tutorials on how to accomplish this...please help

You would be better doing this from the sword object. Build your sword then create a morph map and push and pull the verts into a pool of liquid, whatever shape you want.

So the base mesh is the sword and the morph mapped version is the liquid pool shape.

You shouldn't need particles for this.

I have a shot that could be done in a similar fashion, having blood form words.:thumbsup:

Even better is to use clothfx to melt the sword. Save the melt as a few morph targets then reverse the morph sequence in morph mixer.
