Can anyone help??

I need a tutorial on how to make a golf ball texture and then UV it correctly onto a subpatched ball.

Build a Tesselated Sphere, make all polygons occupy the same UV space and recreate the pattern found on Wikipedia, SubD your ball, and done.

Thanks Red. I'll give that a go. I've seen the pattern on Wikipedia and that'll help a lot.

Red. I have been trying to make a decent UV map but all i get is a map made up of different sized triangles. The pattern on Wikipedia shows the dots occupying equalateral triangles so I need to make a UV map where all the UV triangles are the same. Is there an easy way to flatten a sphere?
