That looks so cool. Just so cool. I like how the chrome looks.

But what about the top fly wheel on the belt. It looks like it is just sitting on the belt. What is holding it in place.

At that angle it's hard to see,but there is a bracket that comes off the drivers side blower shaft(it is a clamp setup that can be adjusted). If you look between the two hoses you might be able to see the bolt at the clamp split. It's a pretty standard piece on most tension pullies i have seen in the books. And Thanks! Scott

Here is a closer veiw. It's not that out there,so i didn't go all out on the texture.I used rope editor for the hoses and wiring,so that braid worked out perfect.

Assigned a UV Map in Rope editor(tube Preset) and applied the image below in Color,Diffuse, Spec and Bump. The Spec channel is set to multiply at 84%. I,ll work on the clay render.

Here's a side shot,some defferent lighting.
I suppose alot of people know this, but if you hit F11(in IE Explorer) you can knock out the tool bars and open up the main screen.

All these years and I didn't know that (F11). Thanks!:foreheads

That is one amazing model!! I love dragster engines and this is one of the best modeling jobs I've ever seen. Cheers!

Could you elaborate slightly on where to find this "rope editor"? I've never used it but I'd sure like to.
