View Full Version : particle emitter eveness

Ive created a several nulls with FX emitters leaving a trail of particles. Problem is here is a marked jump in brightness and thickness in these trails within the animation.

IE, its thick n bright until frame 117, then suddenly changes to thinner and not so bright on frame 118 and continues to be so to the very end?

Any clues to why this is and how do i remedy this so I get more of a consistent beam?

Ive also used the bloom filter as well- could this be the offending bas tard!

Any pointers urgently required, deadlines a looming!

Have you reached the maximum number of particles on frame 117?

arrrh tribbles- thats so obvious!

Been staring me in the face that one. Silly me! Where are the banging heads together icons when yo need em (must of used em all)

Been rendering all day, so cant tinker now - give it a go in the morning!

Oh hang on a minute, jumped the gun a bit then.

This also occurs much earler on in the animation as well, same apex of the curve! Figure that?

Ive turned the bloom filter threshold to 0 and so far it has seemed to have resolved ths problem!

Now ive weeded this little fella out, gonna take him outside and give him a good kickin! In your face lightwave - I won this one!

I know its not xmas anymore but what the ****,- :santa:
