Very often LW9 refuses to load the scene. Just starts and then it hangs forever. The only solution: Delete the preferences. Afterwards everything works fine.

But this means all the time to reload the menu and shortkey presets and that sucks. What's wrong, how can I avoid it?

Cheers

P.S.: My hub is disabled by renaming it to hab.

I had a similar problem, some times ago,
was a corrupted line in LW9.cfg, a non integer value
for nPrewiewSize but it could be a different thing for you,
my problem came from a (buggy) nodal tree in a preset.
Create a safe config and try to reproduce the loading failure,
make a comparaison between the two configs (tedious!).
Hope that's help.

Denis.

Thanks Denis,

in my case it happens with many different scenes and I don't pattern behind the strange behaviour yet. I wonder if this might be related to Beta versions which got installed after the 9.0 version.

You can save your current config in the Edit Menu Tab. This way no matter what you can always get it back. Some people also use this to load up different configs for rigging/animating tasks etc. and it helps clean up the interface by using it on a per task basis. You can also save the keyboard set up.
