View Full Version : Animating Procedural textures applied to Volumetric lights

Hi folks,

Having trouble animating these Procedural textures applied to Volumetric lights. For example, I have a Vol. Distant light that I placed on the ground that is facing up. I want it to look like a fire and it does except I need the textures to move up the +Y axis to mimic smoke and flame. I have a procedural texture layer with a Gradient layer on top of it.

How would I do this?

Create an envelope on the textures y position.
