View Full Version : MergeTrigonsX for zBrushed and qemmloss3'd obj?

I have made a bull statue model in zbrush and textured it there. I want to use GUV or AUV tiling. I used qemmloss, but after less than ~70% of the original polys destroy the UV map and the GUV tile seams come visible.

I heard MergeTrigonsX might help(although at some forums someone said it may break UVs, which would be a real shame) qemmloss3 with the UV problem, but the site where the plugin was is down. Anyone know where to find it or similar tool?

The mesh has currently 190 000 polygons so lscript version would probably be way too slow. Not that I can found it either :)

Thanks, qemmloss3 I have. (Great plugin. One of my most used ones) Need something that fixes uv seams for qemmlossing.

Quadrangling 190 000 polygons manually is too tedious for me.

Use TB untriple, it preserves discontinuous UV's.
Find it here:

Also, there's another qemloss type plugin, you might want to give it a go. It was based on qemloss, so presumably the author made some improvements, but I don't know what...
