Hi, all!

I am trying to model a simple glass here. I have ray trace shadows, Ray trace transparency, ray trace reflections and ray trace refraction on and also using Digital Confusion on. One of the things I am wondering about is why I can't see the other top edge/curve of the glass. Any tips, hints or comments are allways welcome. Thanks.:jam:

(By the way, the picture on the wall in the background is a scanned texture of one drawings I did many years ago.)

Lens focus/camera position maybe?

It's because you don't have any "flipside geometry," so to speak. Lightwave does not automatically bend rays back as they exit a refractive material. You can solve this with a node setup, or by using flipped "air" polygons. Like this:

Hi, again!

Thanks for the hints! Here I have moved the camera a little closer to the glass and I was not shure if I had "flipped" polygons as "air" on the render above, but in this picture it is. :)
