View Full Version : Moving frame slider causes object to flicker

Im using 9.0 and I've set up a keyframe at frame 300 to do a simple 360 rotation. When I move the slider back and forth to check the animation a bounding box appears instead of the object. When I stop moving the slider the mesh reappears. If I play the animation the bounding box is there the whole time and I have to use "make preview" to see it in action.

My 8.5 version does not suffer from this. Moving the slider shows the animation nice and smooth. It's been awhile since I've tried to animate anything so I could be just missing a setting or is it a problem with 9.0?

That is your "bounding box threshold" setting. Default is 1000 (polygons, or points?) most machines these days are fine set to 1,000,000.
