View Full Version : Playing VOB in Media Player

I downloaded a registry hack about 6 months ago that allowed me to play vob files in Windows Media Player on the hard drive after copying them from dvds so that I can watch copies of the movies that I own while on the computer, so that I can use them as visual reference on another window while working in Lightwave. I've had to reboot my os, and now can't seem to find that hack. Does anybody have it or know where it is? I think I found it originally on the divx page or somewhere similar, but can't find anything like that there now...

Rather than hacking your registry, why not just demux the VOB's? Take a look at at a nifty app called VOB Snoopy. It will break a VOB down into editable video and audio streams. To learn more, go to:
