Hello Everyone,
I have a problem with the bump texturing in LW9.
When i started texturing a rock, and i added bumpmap layers, i saw that each bump layer overwrote the layer underneath it.
In lw8 this wasnt an issue, Now i have to put all my layer to additive to see also the other layers.
I tried then to open a textured object from lw8, and indeed no bumpmap in lw9 when rendered.
Is it a bug?

Here a small test i made.

is it a bug?

Thanks in advance

I think it's working like it should have been working now.
Seems more like a bug fix to me.

Yeah, I would say this is a fix, as no other texture channels show one layer beneath the other by default. This brings it into line with all the other texture channels, like colour etc.

-Previous to LightWave v9, alpha channels were used to control the strength of a bump map. In LightWave v9, the application modes do work for bumps and are the recommended method of controlling the bump strength.
