View Full Version : Sasquatch Alpha Channel Problem

So I'm doing tennis balls in Sasquatch. The balls look great until I bring them into After Effects.

I'm getting a white halo around the ball with premultiplied black and a white/black line around the ball with the interpretation set to straight.

Is there a way to fix this?

The only solution I see right now is to set the alpha to just Lightwave and not use the Sas alpha... but of course I lose the cool fuzzyness on the outside of the ball when I do that.

Thanks for any help.

I guess this is the usual premultiplied issue..
Try render out as 32-bit png (meaning alpha is embedded) and
'Fader Alpha Mode' which effectively disables premultiplied alpha..

(can't believe NT actually thinks that it's only useful to 'control a video fader' -- i use it for all comps..)
