As a multi OS studio I have come accross an interesting issue. There are a number of dongle types & not all allow multi OS use. To know how many of the different types are out there would be of use to Newtek & also good for you to know for future OS changes. If you could find the time to check and enter the poll I would be most greatful

I doubt anyone is still using an ADB dongle since they don't work under OS X, even with the adaptor, but good poll! :)

I have a new Red one that came with LW 9.0. It works on both my Mac and Windows.

I had a ADB dongle until I upgraded the offices copy of LW to 9. But I personally have a purple Mac only. :(

Thanks John & Mark, I'm hoping most users have a Red or Purple Duo. It was my main reason for staying with LW. It's as simple as that killer plug that works on OS A but not B, oh & that other one that runs on B, but not A!. Newtek allow me to run both on one license, which has saved my bacon a few times.

I'm one of the two with a parallel dongle. <shrug> It works, and it's out of the way, so I rarely even think about it.

Wow, what system are you running that on?

Most PC Towers still have a Parallel port. It's the laptops that are starting to finally enter the year 2000 and drop the old legacy stuff for the new standards.

Good point. I forgot that the Wintel world was just entering the 21st century and dropping the legacy connections and floppy drives. ;)
