Hi there,

Is it possible to use a gradient to color the displacement? Like in this example.
The farest pixels on the displacement have another color. :help:

Nice image.

It isn't that the "farthest pixels" necessarily are a different colour in terms of an applied gradient.

-The outermost polys are simply surfaced in green and the others blue. The rest is area lighting. That's my opinion anyway!

Just use a standard distance gradient with the object as the reference :)

Copy the displacement map into the bump channel, set the bump to 0% (in the main window, not the texture window) and use the Bump gradient in the color channel. The color gradient will still read the bump when it's set to 0.

... easy for you guys, I'm running less than %10 eyesight: as iin "Blind" Person.

Tome: be grateful for having had your head fully wired to vision to begin with. Ouch!~

- Not being sanctimonious, it stays with you even if you lose it! The persistence of vision and all that.

For us visual heads anyway!
