Does anyone know of a way to get LW's particle effects system to produce particles at regular intervals instead of randomly?

For example, requesting 2 particles per second would produce a particle every 0.5 seconds.

well, the obvious way is to set it at 2 on birthrate and generated by sec.
And it would lead you to believe that either 2 will be shot at once or 1 will be shot every 15 frames (2 per sec, 30 frames).

But that would be too easy :thumbsdow

Mine don't work that way.

maby a collision that hits every 2 sec ?

Sure it could be easier, but there are still a couple of ways to do it currently...

Ah, brilliant. The keyframe thing should be good enough for what I need.

Which, incidentally, is for a gun barrell firing shots. I figure object replacement, or hypervoxels, for shots will do the trick.

Unless anyone knows of a better way to get some projectiles flying?

Excellent, for some reason I never really tried using keyframes with an emitter. Go figure.
