Very informative. Sheds some light on some ocurences in LW certainly, and some smart decisions by the new team.

I'd like to ge the reaction of the NewTek team. Is this a talking movie, horseless carriage idea? Never amount to a thing. /facetiousness

Er, 9.0 was a major rebuild because it implimented, amongst other things, the kd tree system. So it's at least heading that way.

If Intel start shipping raytrace chips, I doubt that NewTek (these being the guys who started writing the Video Toaster 3 software about 6 years before the hardware Moore's Lawed it's way up to supporting it, remember) will sit there, tilt their heads to the side and proclaim "There hain't no sitch henimal!"

Just sayin'.
