Howdy all.

Been tinkering with this for a bit and got it to a stage where I'm pretty pleased with it, not a work brief - just a personal pratice piece.

I'm not going to touch it any more, though C&C is still more than welcome.
I'd be pleased to hear your thoughts.

Cheers,

flakester.

Hey! Did you made it or you just enhance the image? Are you using Photoshop? It looks like a simple picture to me.

Howdy Mchilly.

The piece was modelled and textured in Lightwave, and rendered with fprime.
The image was then taken in to Photoshop for a bit of a touch up.

Cheers,

Nicely done. :)

Did you work from actual samples, or mainly from online references?

Cheers Iaian7.

I'll be honest, most of it was from imagination, it was difficult (read: I was too lazy!) to find any good shots of 70mm film stock - any reference material I did find, was online.

Great Composition Flakester! Could easily pass for an advert in a magazine.

But, film is actually a lot thinner and I don't remember seeing 'raised' lettering. Also, the images are grouped a lot tighter on actual film.

Still, I love the image and I doubt most people would notice those nit-piks in this digital age :D
