So I get's the message saying:

"All you have to do is login at register.newtek.com, click on the Open Beta banner and agree to the NDA and download the software. At that point, you’ll receive an unlock key for the update and you’ll be added to the Open Beta forums."

I go and login as usual and nada, zip, zilch, nothing, no mention at all of an Open Beta banner anywhere.

Could someone explain, or is this another of those 'oh, you live in europe' things.

By the way, in case anyone is wondering, yes I do have a fully registered version of LW9 and it is electronically registered at Newtek.com

Can you see the Open Beta forums now? At the bottom of the page? Oh, If I remember right you may have to send an email in order to add you in.

The LightWave v9.2 Open Beta has not started yet. That text was to give you an idea of what you will need to do when it does. When the program actually begins, we will make an official announcement.

For UK peeps:

Central Standard Time (CST) is 6 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

So if NewTek are right on the button, the fun starts at 8pm!

Ah nevermind, I see that people are still being added to this list for access to the forums. Hope it's soon...

Although, I would like to add that I think people should be added according to the number of posts they make on these boards!

That's what we're doing. We're just doing it least posts to most.

Seriously, we have someone that's sole job right now is to add people. The problem is that it takes a certain amount of time to process each person, even more if they provided invalid information, so it's going to take a while just to get through the flood of people that signed up in the first hour alone.

A lot of work has gone into this build already, but the whole point of open beta is to find stuff that doesn't appear until it's "out in the wild." Open beta's not ending tomorrow. Everyone will have time to participate.

Is there a 9.2 Open Beta forum? I'm all signed up but I see no forums for 9.2 beta testing.

Although I probably won't sign up for the Beta myself (forget the new stuff; I'm still learning the old stuff :D ), I'm inclined to do it just to check out what everyone's getting to experiment with at the Beta forums. :beta: That's good enough reason to join I suppose; although I'll give everbody else a chance to sign up first.
