I have done a series of LEGO minifigs in LightWave for an animation I hope to do if I ever get the time. I would appreciate any input on them.

I realize there are quite a few of them, and I don't expect comments on every single one, but any input would be appreciated.

If you have seen the render in NewTek's LightWave Gallery, these have all been remodeled since then, and many have been resurfaced as well.

I hope to add a Tauntaun and some modern military vehicles soon.

Thanx in advance.

Sorry, the link worked earlier. I redid it, and it seems to work now.

Great work! :)

The surfacing looks almost spot-on (from what I can remember of my long lost LEGO collection) and I particularly liked "The Rocketeer", "Indiana Jones" and "Zorro". It'd be great to see these models animated.

These figures rememinds me an animation named "block wars". A reintrerpretation of The Empire Atrikes Back with CG models, done a couple of years ago.

I like the Phantom and Rocketeer.

Thanks for your comments.

Any other input is also appreciated.

Hi,

to me the tops of the arms look too rounded, and the legs look to be too short compared to the body. Still quite good though.

If you want something to compare it with I've made a minifig myself, you can see it in my gallery (http://www.fluffygryphlets.btinternet.co.uk/Julian/Gallery/)
