View Full Version : Breaking mesh into puzzle pieces

Hey there,

What is the best way to divide a mesh (character) into small pieces.
I'll be using hard dynamics to animate the pieces falling to the ground
but I'm stuck on how to conform the pieces to the mesh so that it looks like
the character is slowly disintegrating, puzzle piece at a time.

I used bg conform in lw 9 - no luck - I tried bg conform plus and the
plugin would not load in lw 9.

I may have to settle for an AE 2d solution but I'm sure it can be done in lw.


Any suggestions????
