hi node masters !

i've got a sphere and i would like to move a 3D procedural texture along the normal of the sphere. I tried a setup ( see image ) but the result is as it was a scale rather than a move...i would like just if i move a 3D procedural on a plane and moving it along Y axis for example...any helps ?

If you want to use a texture node to deform, use the displacement node. NT video ftp://ftp.newtek.com/pub/LightWave/LW9/Displacement.avi has details.

no, i dont want to deform, just have a moving color texture...

There are 3 nodes here, try to connect your procedural in Color input,
and normal to move input, may be with some math nodes to control?!

it works! i'd add a scale vector node to the normal spot info and connect it to the move node...for some value of the scale there's strange result, but after tweaking it works perfectly! thanks very much, Denis, for your work and for your advice!
