When I use a particle emitter and HV, the particles tend to "pop" into existence. I am simulating dust behind a vehicle on a dirt road, and the dust pops in rather unconvincingly. How can I get it to come in more realisticly? And how can I get the dust trail to expand as the vehicle leaves it behind?

you could just envelope the size. never had the in prob, just the end pop.

in your hypervoxels>geometry>particle size setting, add a gradient texture layer that is based on relative particle age. That means they can start off small and grow as they age.

For particles popping out of existence, adjust the particle lifespan in your emitter settings so that it's long enough that they don't die while on screen.
