View Full Version : UV map disappear when using SSS

I have a problem, when I apply a sss node to diffuse shading my UV texture map in the color channel disappears? Is it a bug or is it something I'm missing?

If you plug something into the diffuse shading in nodal it will automatically "overwrite" the other inputs related to diffuse shading in some way.
What you could do is plugging the color output of the image node into the surface color input of omega, if I'm not entirely mistaken.
Or you could use the mixer node to mix the output of your SSS with your UV image.

Thanks for the tip! I got it to work when I used the UV image alpha as input for the amount of the kappa shader.
