New user of LW.

I know that you can clone objects to the points of another object in a background layer. What I want to do is similar expect that I want to have the clones aligned to the normal of the object surface at those points. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Zardoz suggested a few plugins in another thread - see http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56259. I tried the SP_Clone - it's pretty cool.

Skehar,
Thank you. It appears to be just what I need!

Hmmm. Tried adding the spclone plugin in Modeler 8.5 but the program reported that it could not. Any suggestions? Is there a newer version somewhere? Thanks.

Sp_ Clone looks like it's windows only.

I'm using Pictrix (http://www.pictrix.jp/lw/index_1.html) Pp- Clone and Dp_ Clone which work brilliantly

gerry g,
The toy airplane model is impressive! I assume you used pp clone on the rivets?
