Hello-

Is there any way to remove an unwanted dynamic from the "Dynamics" tab (of the "Object Properties" or "FX_Emitter" panels)?

Please advise.

Right-click on the dynamic and click remove.

Thanks!

By the way, where did you learn this? Is it in the manual?

It's how it works, basically. You right-click shaders to remove them, you right-click image filters to remove them, etc etc.

When I first got LW I was just messing around and found it.

---you SHIFT-click on an envelope or texture to remove it in the Surface Editor.

All these quirks make it hard for me to learn Lightwave.

Yeah, but envelopes and textures in the surface editor have no contextual menues at all.

A really good way to learn LW (besides the manual and 3rd part books) is just go through it (the buttons) and click of them to see what they do. Some of the things in LW aren't even in the manual. I found a few jewels that way.
