View Full Version : animated loopable tileable surfaces

I am trying to create a water texture for a tile-based game that needs to animate while preserving its "tileability". The surface is created using only procedural textures -currently using turbulence and underwater.

It's not difficult to get the animation to loop seamlesly, but when I try to place the rendered tiles next to each other in the game they do not tile at all. What settings should I use to create the tiled effect?

Here is the LW9 scene which consists of a single plane with the surface set up as mentioned above. "play to see animation if you have openGL textures enabled".
