A week or so ago I posted on this forum (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55462) a challenge enticing artists to composite together creative video of Stephen Colbert using some green screen footage (http://www.codebot.org/colbert/).

Well Stephen Colbert picked up on the challenge and featured it on his TV show. Now the leader of the votes is using some impressive cgi animation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8Mkm3QtwgE). I use lightwave, and really want to see it represent. Can any of you top that?

Watch the TV coverage here (http://www.codebot.org/colbert/)

I'm working on it, I'm not sure I'm going to go full cgi on it though.

Wow, this story was just picked up by the Associate Press and is on the New York Times:

Here is the original thread (from google cache) I made at colbertnation.com that started the challenge:

I think you better re-check the second link that is labeled green screen footage, it does not seem to go where it did originally. I was at work trying to show someone and boy was I shocked. :goodluck:

Oooofffff WOW!!!

That is an evil evil site. Full of mal/bad/nasty/satan ware.

resist the urge to click the link and if you do have firewall and antivirus on.

Yeah and I know on Monday I am going to hear it from my IT people if I somehow caused a virus. :help:

Wow I just noticed on the MSNBC article that they have the same link to the hacked site. A ton of people are going to be in for a shock.
