I found that on flay, and was wondering if anybody tried it to see if it works well on heavier geometry

thanks

I just downloaded it and tried a few different objects and it seems to ignore surfaces and SDS.

i'd like to know more about this product too. i guess its only good for baking in AOs though.

This program works excellent...
Shawn, the reason yours didn't come out right is because you used vertex data instead of UV's and a texture map, plus there isn't that many vertices. It works great for baking AO, and fast!

Care to elaborate there Bryan?

Well there isn't much to it...
1.You export your model as .obj with UVs.
2.Open it in faogen
3.Set your map size
4.Set AO settings as desired
5.Calculate(bake)

edit...When I downloaded the app it didn't support .lwo, but I see on the site that the developer updated it, and it now opens .lwo. So you could skip step one.

If you are trying to use it on a patched object, freeze it first, then reapply the map to the original patched object.
