The pic at the bottom on the left is a screen grab of a head I modeled in 8.5 but in version 9 it looks all funky. The right pic is a render of the same head so you can tell what's showing through and whats not.

This doesn't happen when I open meshes that came with v9 content, only with meshes I created in 8.5 and open in v9.

I'm on Intel iMac with RadeonX1600 and 256 vram.

It's probably irrelevant, but I have seen something identical except it only occured under a distant light - area lighting of any quality didn't produce the same effect.

It only went away after I gutted and reinstalled OSX... if that's any use?
