Anyone remember where the docs for UV Edit Pro are? Decided to see if it works with 9 today but can't remember all the ins and outs of it and can't find any documentation anywhere (DStorm has them in Japanese but I only speak Japanese, reading is a nightmare :cursin: ) Thanks all!!

Use these instead: http://homepage2.nifty.com/nif-hp/index2_english.htm

Much easier to use. Not very good docs either, but there is a thread here (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53778) that explains some of the ins and outs.

Could somebody send me the installation file?
I have the registration number, I'm legal, I just lost the software in a hard-drive crash.

I just went and verified my legality... turns out I registered on 05/29/2004.
How many versions am I behind now?

I thought there was some docs, but I could be wrong, it was a while ago. Just in playing with it not really sure of it's worth. Anyone out there use it?

i use it pretty frequently. primarily because it doesn't leave much of those "point-mess" that LW leaves behind when moving UVs a lot. plus i love the cylindrical, sphere, planar and box guides. its much better than texture guide II i think.

Didn't the English docs come with the original download from Newtek (ie pre 8 freebie download). I'm certain I have english docs but they're not on this machine. I'll have a look around.

Checked the main machine.
Searched for uvedit, dstorm, *.pdf, *.zip, *,htm

NADA. Only the actual plugin is showing up.

Weird, I'm sure there was even a delay in getting the plugin to us at the time so English docs could be made available. :screwy:

There were english docs that Chuck and I worked on a few years ago. I will see if I can track them down.

So does anyone else have this thing going where they can't find something until they complain to someone out loud that they can't find it, or is it just me? ;)

Now that shows you how good my memory is. I had to go back through this short little thread and see Wickster already posted the link. My bad.
