I've installed Lightwave 8.5 onto my mac G5 (running OSX 10.4) and the license key is not recognized. Everytime I plug in the numbers within lightwave, I get a 'License.key successfully written. Restart Lightwave to end Discovery mode!' message. But it doesn't take when i restart.

I tried manually going into the program files and opening up the 'License.key' file and plugging the numbers in there, but no go either.

Any suggestions?...

Thanks for the help!!

Hi Norview,

I think this has to do with registration, but I'm not positive. I'll check with the tech gurus once I get back in the office tomorrow. That is, unless one of them is floating around the forums tonight, in which case he'll probably tell you how to fix it.

Registration is here...

I'd also check permissions to see if that's an issue.

I checked my registration. It all seems to be accounted for....

How do I check my permissions? I did the 'verify disk permissions' within the 'disk utility' program...but I have a feeling it's more then just that. Do I have to go into the 'terminal'? If thats the case then some guidance will be need.

If there are any other options, whatever you (guys) can do is most appreciated.

Thanks.
