Lately there have been many spam posts. Brian, can you implement some sort of spam filter in the forum so spam threads are auromatically blocked? They are starting to take away from the forum!!

:spam: more :spam:from this mob.
Anyone know a way to forward to their email address [email protected]
(without IDing ourselves) as much crap as possible to clog up their works.

This is the second lot they've loaded up and people like this are a pain in the arse.

There's a nice little icon below the poster's info that looks a bit like a traffic sign. That icon is for reporting spam, and is, assuming the feature's functional, the best way to deal with spam threads.

No kidding. I can't believe that guy posted so much spam. I hate forum spammers such as those. :(

To date we've not implemented a system to prevent spammers from using automated means to set up a forum account, so we'll be adding that as a first line of defense.

Scratch that - we are already using image verification, so apparently the spam crews are logging in with a human rather than a bot. We'll just have to keep banning them and blocking IPs.
