Hi,

I seem to remember (but can't locate now) a tutorial on how to model a charge or credit card. (Specifically included details on how to model the raised numbers).

Anybody know where I might be able to find it or something similar?

Thanks in advance.

I'd just use a displacement map on a subpatch plane, myself.

There was a tutorial in one of the 3d mags a couple of years ago (it also showed a pill blister pack). BeeVee or Proton also showed a credit card vid at Siggraph 2005. The Sig 2005 vid was using APS, but it's the same technique that what Bog mentioned, displacement on a subd object.

If you're looking to get it done fast, metanurbs displacement would be the ideal way. If you're looking to expand your knowledge, you could work out the right combination of solid drill and bevels. You'd be surprised what you can accomplish there with your surface smoothing set to 179. :)
