At this point. I'm not even sure if I'm going to get any cds. It's all so very confusing.

Maybe I can clarify.

If you bought the full version of 8, and got CD's for 8 when you ordered, then version 9 is download only.

If you already had 8, and just ordered the upgrade itsself, then CD's are on the way, or will be very soon.

Also, even if you don't qualify for CD's to be sent automatically, you can always order a convenience upgrade. Accomodations can also be made, depending on the circumstances, to get a CD to the needy (i.e. folks on dial-up).

If you have any questions on what you qualify for, give our Customer Service folks a call at 1-800-862-7837. They'll clear things up for certain.

Cheers.

Sorry I should have qualified my earlier statment.

I purchased the Manuals and CD's ontop of the 'electronic' upgrade as I hate PDF manuals. They really do my eyes in after a couple of minutes reading on monitors (even lcd). Also my LW7 manuals are falling apart.

Of course there is always the feeling of purchase when you can hold the box in your hand :D

That's actually the most clearly anyone has spelled it out. And I've read through at least 3 or 4 threads on the subject of the CD shipping. Thank you.

What's the deal for those who pre-ordered through an authorized dealer? Do our CDs ship to the dealer first or do they go directly to us? I haven't got any notification whatsoever regarding shipment of discs, and I got my 9 upgrade w/Vue/CAD at the end of June. As far as I know, I am entitled to receive the discs.

I have two sets of disks on order directly from Newtek US. I called customer service yesterday and they said that US orders would ship in about 2 weeks. Not a big deal either way for me, but a bit different from what I am reading here.
