CKPT: Checkpoint block nesting overflow -- FATAL!

I am getting this error anytime I try to render current frame. Lightwave crashes and I have to re-open it.

I'm using:
LW 8.5
MAC OSX 10.4.7

I've got some dynamics in my scene, but the motion has all been saved out. Is there any explanation and way of fixing this? If more info is needed in order to make a diagnosis, I'm more than happy to explain things more. Thanks for anyone with some ideas.

I've never seen that particular error before, but let's try some of the "snake oil" solutions, and see if it's not just one of the usual suspects.

First, close Lightwave, go to your preferences, and trash the Lightwave prefs files, and all the prefs for any Lightwave tools you're using.

After that, follow this tutorial to rescan all your plugins, and reset your menus:

See how that does.

Thanks for the tip! I will give that a try and see if it fixes it! I'll let you know.
