I am planning to buy a laptop. I am thinking of a Dell XPS M1210 with Core Duo and 1Gb Ram.
The graphics will be Intel GMA 950. I know this isnt the best graphics but i am not that interested in gaming so that wont be an issue. However it would be fun to be able to work some 3D when i am not at home.

The laptop wont be my primary workstation since at home I got a decent Desktop Computer at home.

Do you think the GMA 950 will be able to pull it off (working in Lightwave that is)?

Thanks.

I am looking at FINALLY upgrading LW...but...my laptop does have one of these integrated GMA 950 chipsets (945GM). It will not be my primary computer for LW...but it would be nice to do 3D on the road.

For low poly scenes, will this video card work reasonably well? I am not expecting blockbuster performance or anything...just curious whether it will work at all.

Thanks,
