I am trying to make a glass globe, I created a .tga surface of the contenents, how do I get the ocean to be non exestant or transparent? The .tga has alpha, and lightwave reads it, but when i render, the alpha is grey on the globe.

make sense?

Thanks,
Luke

Without a transparency map (which I guess you don't have), LW will give the transparent areas the surface color (which is grey by default). Set the transparency map to the image alpha, and you should be good.

If you have LW9, you can just link the inverse of the alpha to transparency under nodes.
