Anyone find a way to bake tangent space maps in V9 yet?

I guess not...
I don't understand why NT would give us a node that is able to render tangent space maps, but only give us a way to bake object space maps? Makes no sense!!! Although, Mr. Willmott has made a node that renders object space normal maps, that isn't helping my problem of not being able to bake tangent space maps in Lightwave. So please if anyone has found a way to do that please be kind enough to share.

If it is not possible to do this I would have to call this another half BAKED feature.

I have some surfaces and a short description on how to use it at http://www.newtek.com/forums/showpost.php?p=411705&postcount=38

It's very limited and will only work if all polygons of the low poly object are outside of the high polygon object.

This isn't something that they can easily add, as creating normal maps is about approximating the surface, not just finding the normal at a specific point as I am doing.
