View Full Version : Bug workshop for Version 9

Well, it would be nice if we didn't have to have this thread, but as they say, bug happens.

seems like there's a problem with scene editor not updating, and creating double instances of objects in hierachies when adding them to a scene (more here (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54435))

I've had some problems rendering with multiple AA passes fields and Shadow mapped lights. Turning off shadow map caching causes the second pass of the render to go dark (you can actually see it happening in the render preview window), which leads to a dark render.

I can't select points on CC subpatch items in the perspective viewport in Modeler when it's in anything except wireframe mode. It could just be an OpenGl thing, it's a bit like the way 8.5 was for me on a mac.

the Mirror tool doesn't correctly copy edge weights. Objects that have edge weighting applied need to have the weights cleared and then reapplied when mirrored.

And, the hub doesn't play nicely with firewalls, causing extremely slow start-ups of LW and Modeler (thread [here (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54202))

I'm on a Athlon64 3400+, running XP in 32bit, 2 - 3Gb Ram (depending on how many of my render nodes I'm using), with litestep (http://www.shellfront.org) as my shell. Nvidia 6600 GPU. LW9 RC23. The time is 21:42, the Dow Jones is 35.18 down 2.2, and the Solar wind speed is ranging between 274 and 356 km/s (all day average 319 km/s - increasing 13 km/s over the previous day)
