I want to know if I could work with VT and a Maxtor storage 5000 series XT or DV (it isn't SCSI, it is firewire).

they say that it work at FireWire—40 MB/sec rate in Sustained transfer :D ... in a 400 Mb/sec Bus transfer rate... but at 7.200 rpm :(

I want to work (editing video) in dvd compress quality
Please.. tell me if I could work with this hardrives! :confused:
