I've been building watertight meshes for my client, and have come across an error none of my tools could find. Is there a plugin or external tool that will search an object for intersecting polygons?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know of a modeler tool that will point out intersecting polygons, but maybe you could use the unReal shader to render where one polygon intersects another polygon:

Here you can see how it can render where two polygons intersect:
http://d-creation.sakura.ne.jp/plugin/unreal/htm/guide.htm#gd_toon

I haven't used unReal for over a year, but maybe you could have the ToonTracer mark intersections, then render a turnaround of the model. Scrub through the frames to find possible intersecting edges.
