OK, possibly an odd question (and if this is better asked in General Discussion, I do apologise)...

I'm actually writing a resumé for the first time in about a decade. I've been freelance since '95, and have had a jolly old time with that, but really think that a few years with just the one studio, working with other folks - preferably who know more than I do - would be a Good Thing.

Now I'm realising that I haven't had to write one of these darned things for over a decade - usually I just wave a showreel under peoples' noses, but I'm off to SIGGRAPH to job-hunt, and want to put on my very best face.

Does anyone who's got experience of this sort of thing know of any good example resumés I could take a look at? Google's giving me a really wide slew of different opinions on the matter, none of which seem very consistent.

Can anyone share any layouts or particular terminology that's succeeded for them in the past?

I thought about just getting some metal plate from the scrapyard, painting it up like a bit of scorched Viper hull and scoring my name in it, but I wouldn't really be able to email that....

Keep it short, but sweet. No one really wants to read a 20 page resume. With your experience it's probably hard to make it fit on 1 page but try.
