Hmm... what version of LW are you using? Can't find it in LW8.3 or LW9.0...

I have a plugin called ASA Buffersaver which lets you save out renderbuffers into separate images. This can be used if you want to do compositing and such things.

This is just a theory, but since you found it under object properties, my guess is that it actually can save out different passes directly from the object. Normaly, if you want to save out buffers from individual objects, you have to check Unseen by Camera on all other objects.

So, by the sounds of what you have found, I see a huge timesaver for multipass-rendering here...

I think it lives in Image Processing. There or in Pixel Filters. (Processing Pane)

Version 8.5. It's in the object prop. Ichecked it "on" and it layed out like 4 semitransparent red squares.I couldn't find it's description in the help section.

I just checked in LW8.5 and can't find what you describe.

Loaded an object in Layout
Selected object, opened Properties panel
On the Geometry-tab
Add Custom Object

Can't find anything with ASA in its name there...

I'm truly puzzled now. Have you added some plugin or something, or are you absolutely sure you havn't added any 3:rd party plugins?

It is a 3rd party plugin. Here you find more information about it. (http://lw-fin.org/plugins/asa/rt/plug_rt.html)

Darn.... I was hoping someone had written a plugin to save out individual passes for each object in one go... :) *LOOOL*
