View Full Version : need .max exporter how can I convert to max?

I really, really, badly need an exporter that can convert my models into a format recognized by max.

I have deep exploration, but the .max exporter requires you to have a copy of max. :eek:.

Has anyone got any suggestions? I can easily export my model, but the atlas texturing doesn't seem to work!!! help me!!

Any format suggestions, all I need is a Fomat that is run by max and supports my uv mapping. hurry!! I'm in deadline hell!

Hi !

Export model to 3DS and it will work fine. IT will also have UV maps attached (atleast it's working with planar UVmaps i used). MAX format is different and it's not real 3D format. It's more set of instructions how to reconsruct modle in MAX when you oare loading it so you can't convert that with full support in any 3Dprogram. So that's reasom why they require you to have MAX also :).

Yeah, I ended up baking all my uv's onto one map, and exporting to 3ds.

Is there any way to Bake reflections? I really need them, yet surface baker doesn't bake them?

Hmm right hemispheres programs is really good. Why dont NT use converters like theirs?
