I tried looking through the help manual and couldn't find the answer.

Does anyone know how many pixels make a mm or m? I was trying to figure texture size.

If I understand your question. You are looking to make a texture and want to be sure it has a proper resolution (size) for what you are putting it on.

There is no set pixel per meter in lightwave, you need to pick a texture size based on how large the image will be in the final render.

Lets say you have a box (of any size 1m or 1000m, doesnt matter) that will be seen on screen at a max size of 300 pixels. So then you should plan on making a texture that is at least 300x300 or larger. You could just decide on 600x600 to be sure.

If you used a smaller texture on the box it would appear blocky because it got enlarged.

...or maybe he's after the age-old "I don't undestand difference between dpi and resolution" thing.
