I ordered Surpasses, paid for it, and then never received anything even though the confirmation page said I should receive an email within minutes.

Does anyone know if Powel Olas is still in business? I sent an email and haven't received a reply yet.

I really need Surpasses and want to be up to speed before my project gets to it's deadline.

Thanks

Paul

He didn't reply to my last email either.. But I thought it was because it was a stupid question or something.

Pawel Olas, i know works 'down under' in Sydney Australia,
he was at APB, and is now working for Fuel International. (who's work rocks!)

Surpasses is actually designed by Lukaz Pazur.
[email protected]
Also try the webmaster [email protected]
So you could try Emailing that address.

Pawel only added some additional stuff.
If you don't have any luck icould likely send you Pawel's Fuel address.
But you would be better off with Lukaz i think on this one.

When you find out something about Surpassess, let us all know.

The email for Aru comes back as a no longer valid domain.....

This stinks. I really need to output this print project as multiple passes and Surpasses seemed like a great way to emulate XSI's functionality in LW...

I've tried contacting every person related to Surpasses with no luck. Apparently he's no longer in business.

What a shame. 8~

Too bad he didn't sub-contract out the support and continue selling it.
Maybe dropping the price a bit to get a bigger pool of customers.
It really looked like a great product with huge potential.

It's sad if it's gone.

it is said he is not the only one, is one of the many developers for Lightwave.

Well, I just wish he'd say one way or the other. Right now you can go to the site, and go right through the process of buying the software, but then after you've confirmed your order, nothing happens. Now I have to go through the trouble of contacting my credit card company to see if I've been charged or not, and then dispute the charges, etc.

If he's too busy to support the product but wants to sell it, maybe he should use a 3rd party like Kurv Studios to handle the sales.

In any event I'm steamed.

not good business practice being done here...
if he's stopped supporting it he should close his website or put up a note/banner stating that the plugin is no longer available.

he 'may' be on holiday though....give him a chance to reply...2 weeks..ususal holiday length...

looks like a database or lost data issue regarding the hassles on his order...
good news to see that the plugin is still alive and kicking!

Yep - it finally arrived today!

I'm glad everything worked out. Apparently the automated service emails the plugin directly to you - but Gmail refuses EXE files.

It would be nice if instead of emailing an EXE directly, it would just email a link to download.

But in any event, I have it and will be installing it shortly!
