View Full Version : It spins, then it stops

I need to spin something and then have it slowly come to a stop. I know enough about keyframes and what channel (the heading) I want to affect, so that's not the problem. I just don't know the best way to have it slow down and come to a stop.

Is this best done in an expression or with the motion design, or could you even do it with the graph editor?

I would just keyframe it. 0 degrees at frame 0, count how many times you want it to spin, like 50 or whatever, multiply that by 360 and key that value at the end of your animation, then set the Tension of the last keyframe to 1.
